The versatile musician Ingmar Schwindt has been teaching in the sectors piano solo, piano four-handed and chamber music for over ten years now. He also gives classes in the subjects training of the musical ear and harmony.

Many of his students are first or second prize-holders at "Jugend musiziert" on a regional and national level, at "Nürnberger Klavierwettbewerb", at "Karl-Lang-Klavierwettbewerb" in Munich, at "Bach Wettbewerb" in Köthen and at the international "Charles-Hennen-Concours" in Heerlen (Holland).

With his help many of his students got the chance to take part in master classes held by renowned artists like Bernd Glemser, Konrad Elser,Oliver Kern, Schmitt-Leonardy and Wolfgang Manz.

He continuously prepares his students with success for the entrance examinations at German music universities.

Moreover Schwindt gave master classes in the USA and in Italy.

Furthermore he was an assistant teacher of professor Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, he also took pedagogic care for outstanding participants of "International Summeracademie Marktoberdorf" and he organized piano and chambermusic courses for young talents led by Vassilia Efstathiadou and Oliver Kern in cooperation with the office for cultural work of the city of Kaufbeuren and with the "Ludwig-Hahn" school of music in Kaufbeuren.

At an artists' meeting organized by the "Bayerischer Rundfunk" (Bavarian radio) in Munich's concert hall Gasteig the pianist Lang Lang was having nothing but praise for one of Schwindt's piano students.
